Scott Road bike line up for 2013 has exceeded expectations, they always turn out great improvements in there bike range. The Road bikes remain extremely competitively priced but the spec level is always high and Scott bikes finishing is so good.

Scott Aero Foil was last years highlight and a credit to Scott skills in putting bikes together. For this years Speedster 20 Road Bike there is character to match as in the Scott foil range.

  • Lows: Firm ride can rattle a bit on rough roads but aero gains are worth it

Complete with virtual tail technology it brings you blunt-backed, aero-fronted fork blades, down tube, seat stays and heavily shaped chain stays. This in turn creates ‘virtual tails’ of turbulence that mimic airflow of the much bugger Aerofoil.

Complete with internal cable routing it also keeps the airflow nice and clean. The fat frame tubes help keep that weight down.

The gear system is a mix of shimano 105 / Tiagra that’s great considering your getting such a good frame too. The frame is stiff enough to spring up to speed quickly and has acceleration where most bikes start to fade due to the Scott speedster aerodynamics.

This bike is easy to live with on rough roads despite having big tubes. It simply works.
